Geraldine grew up advocating against injustices. As a child, she saw firsthand how a lack of familiarity with the law could disadvantage those who simply did not understand their rights. This set in motion her drive to use her voice and stand up for those who needed to be heard.

Geraldine has vast experience and knowledge in dealing with a variety of complex, high conflict and contentious issues in Family Law and Civil Litigation matters. Clients seek out Geraldine because she refuses to shy away from conflict. She has appeared before numerous motions, conferences, mediations and examinations for discovery. Her passion for advocacy is reflected in her representation as she advocates for her clients aggressively and works to achieve the best possible outcome.

Despite that Geraldine is an assertive litigator, she forms close bonds with her clients, and empathizes with their most difficult situations. She shows clients on their worst days that things can get better, and that solutions are available. Alongside her litigation work, Geraldine also fully embraces alternative dispute resolution, and she will always seek the most suitable avenue for her clients.

Geraldine’s love for the law extends to education as well, having previously taught seminars in Family Law and Wills and Estates Law. She is also an instructor in the Paralegal and Law Clerk programs at Seneca College, teaching a variety of courses to those preparing to enter the legal profession.

When she does close her laptop, Geraldine enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and cycling.
